East Carling Bay Road and Bayview Drive are located in Carling Township approximately 1 km from the intersection of Hwy 400 and Hwy 559 intersection, and is 6.7km in lenght conssiting of existing 50mm asphalt. The road is to be milled and add 50mm of 7/8A Granite gravel. Bids should be submiteed with two options, with the first option being the applicaiton of 60mm HL4 and the 2nd option being the application of two layers each of 40mm of HL4 asphalt, including all the intersections. both options should include the adding of recycled asphalt on the shoulder to the top level of the road surface. Work is not to commence until substantial completion of HWY 559 that is currently under construction and completed no later than fall of 2027. HWY 559 and is anticipated to reach substantial completion in late August early September of 2026. Work must start and stop on any section of the road within the same calendar year so that no portion of the road is under construction during November 2026 to May 15th of 2027.
